Trustees’ Week is an annual celebration of everything trustees do. Trustees are volunteers who play a vital role in making choices for charities and organisations. Anyone can become a trustee, and organisations are often looking for young trustees too.
Becoming a trustee is a great way to lend your support to an organisation you care about, particularly if you have skills the charity could benefit from – such as finance, governance or strategy.
If you're not yet registered with Volunteering Hounslow, please follow the instructions on the I want to volunteer page.
Becoming a trustee is a lot more accessible than many people think, yet half of all charities in England and Wales currently have at least one vacant position on their board. Find out more about becoming a trustee from the Charity Commission here.
